Kelli Carter

Kelli Carter, MEd, currently serves as a School Improvement Specialist at the Florida Department of Education, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Kelli was an Instructional Facilitator and Coach with Sarasota County Schools from August 2014 to June 2022, where notable achievements included increasing learner achievement from 26% to 41% proficiency through targeted improvements in resources and staff development. Kelli also worked as a Biological Technician and Key Leader at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, successfully enhancing task completion by 50% and training over 60 interns and volunteers. Earlier educational roles were held within the School Districts of Manatee, Lee, and Orange Counties. Kelli holds a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Rider University.
