Dr. Cristina Serrano

Dr. Cristina Serrano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Dr. Cristina started their professional career as a Payroll Systems Analyst intern at IBM in 1996. Dr. Cristina then worked as a Consultant at Ernst & Young from 1997 to 1998. From 1998 to 2001, they served as a GL and Travel and Expense/Senior Financial Analyst at Honeywell and was responsible for auditing balance sheet accounts and implementing Oracle upgrades.

In 2001, Dr. Serrano joined CSK Auto/O'Reilly Auto Parts and held multiple positions including Senior Business Process Analyst, SEC Reporting Manager, and Manager of Accounting Controls until 2007. Dr. Cristina then moved to Marathon Asset Management-Marix Servicing Div. and worked as the Director of Financial Analysis for a few months.

From 2008 to 2009, Dr. Serrano worked at JDA Software as an Accounts Receivable Manager in Business Process Management. In this role, they improved processes and managed cash applications to optimize the company's return on investment.

In 2009, Dr. Serrano became the Owner/Member of CS Financial Services, LLC, and President of the AZ Chapter at BPM Ins, where they utilized their financial expertise to manage these organizations.

In 2010, Dr. Serrano joined Foresight Intelligence as the Vice President of Business Development. Dr. Cristina played a key role in this international business intelligence software company, utilizing the latest technology and providing organizations with a competitive advantage.

Most recently, Dr. Serrano served as the Chief Executive Officer at Avida Hospice LLC from 2019 to 2022. Avida Hospice was founded to provide quality comfort care to the elderly population during their end-of-life journey.

Throughout their career, Dr. Serrano has demonstrated strong financial and analytical skills, process improvement expertise, and leadership abilities in various positions and industries.

Dr. Cristina Serrano, MBA, PhD completed their education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Accounting from the University of Arizona in 1997. Dr. Cristina later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2005. From 2013 to 2019, Dr. Serrano attended Grand Canyon University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
