Mark Mortell is the current Chief Global Client Leadership Officer at FleishmanHillard. Before this, they were the Commercial Director at Aer Lingus from January 2000 to June 2002, and a member of their Executive Management team. There, they led the Commercial activities of the airline managing revenue, sales, marketing and customer service across Ireland, the UK, continental Europe and the USA. From January 2007 to December 2010, Mortell was the presenter of Down to Business, a weekly 2 hour business magazine radio programme on Newstalk. Prior to working at FleishmanHillard, they were also the Chairman of Bord Failte - the Irish Tourist Board from January 1997 to December 2000, and the Managing Director of Dimension Advertising and Marketing during that same time period. From January 1993 to September 1997, Mortell worked as the Head of Marketing for Bank of Ireland - Lifetime. Mark has also worked as an adviser for Fine Gael and as Marketing Director for Ballygowan Spring Water Company from January 1989 to December 1993.

Mark Mortell's educational career includes a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dublin City University, as well as studies at Presentation College Bray and Blackrock College.
