Matt Osterhaus has extensive experience in intellectual property law and engineering. Currently serving as a Shareholder and Patent Attorney at Fletcher Yoder since September 2007, Matt began with the firm as a Summer Associate in July 2006. Prior to that, Matt completed Summer Associate roles at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in June 2006 and worked as an Electrical Engineer at McDermott International Inc. from January to July 2004, where responsibilities included analyzing electrical diagrams for Pemex offshore platform bids and commissioning the Murphy Frontrunner platform. Matt holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center, obtained between 2004 and 2007, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed from 1999 to 2003. Additional educational experiences include a brief study at the China University of Political Science and Law and Universidad de Cantabria.
