Robert Dean

Robert Dean has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Robert currently serves as the CTO at Flex since February 2022. Prior to this, they were the Head of Engineering at Variant from April 2020 to January 2022. From August 2014 to April 2020, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Kabbage, Inc. Before that, they held the position of Lead Software Architect at 21st Mortgage from October 2013 to August 2014. Robert also worked as a Software Engineering Manager at GRIDSMART Technologies, Inc. from March 2011 to October 2013. Robert has experience in senior software engineering roles, having worked as a Senior Software Engineer at FLIR Detection from April 2007 to April 2011. Robert started their career as a Chief Technology Officer at Neopong Software from June 2002 to April 2007, where they delivered multiple successful projects. Robert began their professional journey as a Software Development Engineer intern at Microsoft from April 2001 to August 2001.

Robert Dean earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 1997 to 2002.
