Bill Chambers

Bill Chambers is an experienced quality management professional currently serving as the Director of Quality at Flex-N-Gate since July 2021. Bill previously held significant roles at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from January 2009 to June 2021, including Manager of the Quality Assurance Center, where Bill ensured compliance with finished vehicle quality audits and led quality operations teams to meet daily objectives. Additionally, Bill played a key role in World Class Manufacturing initiatives and standardizing vehicle quality measures globally. Prior to this, Bill served as a Weapons Systems Specialist in the United States Air Force from April 1981 to November 1988, focusing on the maintenance and readiness of fighter aircraft. Bill holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University.
