Jessica Strong

Founder and Advisor at Flexable

Jessica Strong has been working in the professional world since 2005. Jessica began their career as a Budget Analyst at Pittsburgh Public Schools. In 2007, they moved on to become the Manager of Training and Recovery Initiatives at Allegheny HealthChoices, Inc. In 2012, they began their own business, Strong Trainings, as a Freelance Grant Writer & Non-Profit Consultant. In 2015, they founded Whetstone Workgroup, a resource for freelancers, consultants, solopreneurs and others that are seeking to balance their personal and professional lives. In 2016, they founded Flexable LLC, connecting parents that need last-minute childcare with childcare providers that have excess capacity. Currently, they are the Executive Director at Social Work Hospice & Palliative Care Network, and an Advisor at Flexable.

Jessica Strong holds a Master's of Public Policy and Non-Profit Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. in International Studies from The Ohio State University with a focus in International Economic Development.
