Michael Ontiveros is an experienced data scientist and epidemiologist currently working at the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at the CDC Foundation, first as an epidemiologist from November 2021 to April 2023 and earlier as a data scientist and epidemiologist from September 2020 to August 2021. Michael's experience also includes a data scientist role at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from August 2019 to August 2020 and serving as a volunteer for the Syringe Services Program at Bienestar Human Services in 2017. Michael holds a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies from The Johns Hopkins University.
