Matthew Weber has a long and varied career in engineering and operations. Matthew began their career in 2000 as an Undergraduate Research Associate at the University of Michigan Engineering Research Center. In 2001, they took on the role of Associate Engineer at Ford Motor Company. In 2002, they became a Senior Project Engineer at Griswold Engineering, Inc., and also founded and served as Treasurer for the Twenty-First Century Investment Group. In 2008, they became the New Product Engineering Manager at NuStep Inc., and in 2016 they took on three roles: Vice President of Research and Development at FlexDex Surgical, Sr. Director of Operations at FlexDex Surgical, and Board Member at Marywood Nursing Care Center.
Matthew Weber completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in 2002. Matthew obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering Management with a Project/Program Management Track from Eastern Michigan University in 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained a Certified Professional Innovator from the University of Michigan College of Engineering in 2015, a Certified Lean Sigma Champion from the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center in 2011, and a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2014.
