Karen Williams

Karen Williams has a diverse work experience in the logistics industry. Karen started their career in 2004 as a Payroll/Accounts Receivable manager at APL Logistics. Karen then worked as a Customer Service Supervisor at Dunkin' Donuts Southeast Distribution, where they supervised the customer service department. Afterwards, they joined GENCO as a Customer Service Supervisor and Financial Administrator/Analyst, where they defined and implemented standard operating procedures for a new facility.

In 2008, Karen became a Customer Logistics Manager/Accounts Receivable at DSC Logistics, leading a team responsible for managing client ordering, fulfillment, and shipping processes. Karen also implemented a process to schedule and manage inbound and outbound loads. Karen then moved on to RYDER LOGISTICS LLC as a Logistics Manager, coordinating daily outbound activities in the distribution center and supervising warehouse staff.

Karen's next role was at Scandinavian Tobacco Group, where they worked as a 3PL Operations Analyst, responsible for aligning customer expectations and operational performance. Karen also served as the Manufacturing Warehouse Manager/Logistics Specialist, managing a team and applying Lean Management techniques.

At Volition Logistics LLC, Karen worked as a Logistics Analyst, providing front-line assistance regarding transportation management and optimizing data collection procedures. Karen then joined Amware Fulfilment as a Client Success Executive, acting as the primary liaison between the company and its customers.

Currently, Karen works as a Logistics Lead at Flexe, where they manage communication with warehouse operators and clients for medium complexity accounts. Karen also worked as a Senior Logistics Analyst at Flexe, executing process improvement projects and advising junior team members on supply chain best practices.

Karen Williams earned an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Truett McConnell University, which took place from 1994 to 1996.
