Michele Stewart

Michele Stewart, PHR, has over 30 years of work experience in HR and has held various leadership roles. Most recently, they are serving as the Principal HR Business Partner at Flexe, where they are responsible for delivering HR programs and thought partnership to senior leaders. Prior to this, they worked at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) as the Principal HR Strategy Partner for the National Security Directorate. Michele also served as an Organizational Change Management Consultant, Principal, and Senior HR Manager at PNNL. Before joining PNNL, Michele worked at Amazon as a Senior HR Business Partner and at Comcast Cable as an HR Manager and Senior HR Professional. Michele began their career at Safeco Insurance, where they held various roles in customer service, underwriting, and management. Throughout their career, Michele has demonstrated expertise in strategic HR leadership, organizational design, change management, employee engagement, talent management, and more.

Michele Stewart, PHR, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Central Washington University in 1991. Michele has additional certifications including the Prosci Change Management Certification from Prosci in 2015, the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in August 2003, and the Certified facilitator/trainer - Civil Treatment for Employees certification from ELI, Inc in 2002.
