Mark Verrall has over 30 years of experience in advanced materials innovation, specializing in the research, development, and commercialization of new materials technologies, including liquid crystals and opto-electronics materials. Currently, Mark serves as a Non-Executive Director at FlexEnable and as Chief Scientific Officer at Auxetec Limited, focusing on pioneering technology in auxetic liquid crystal elastomers. Previously, Mark held significant roles such as Non-Executive Chairman at Helio Display Materials, Senior Vice President at Merck KGaA, and R&D Director in Taiwan for Merck Display Technologies, among others. Mark earned a PhD in Materials Science from Southampton University and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Exeter.
