Chip Burton

Chip Burton has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Chip started their career in 1999 at the South Florida Water Management District as a Systems Analyst. In 2001, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Network Engineer, where they worked for 13 years. In 2014, Chip joined Kyra Solutions, Inc. as a Network Analyst for the Kyra Soulutions-FDOT, Florida Turnpike Enterprise Account. In 2016, they moved to Flexential and held different roles including Service Delivery Engineer, Select Customer Care Engineer, and currently, they are working as a Technical Account Manager.

Chip Burton attended The Ohio State University, although the specific dates are unknown. Chip obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the A+ certification from CompTIA in November 1999. In August 2001, they earned the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification for Windows 2000 Server from Microsoft. In December 2002, Chip obtained the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification in Routing & Switching. Moving forward, they acquired the Zerto Certified Professional Advanced certification from Zerto in April 2014. In April 2018, Chip obtained the ITILv3 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Continuing their certification journey, they earned the ScienceLogic SL1 Operator Certificate from ScienceLogic in June 2021. Lastly, in September 2021, they obtained the Certified Professional Enterprise Engineer certification from Zerto, and in November 2022, they acquired the Kemp Certified Technical Professional certification from Progress Kemp.
