Chris Woolsey

Chris Woolsey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Chris began their career as VP of Operations at Killerspots.com Inc., where they supported various IT aspects, including LAN, WAN, servers, desktops, laptops, security, telecomm, and website management. Chris then moved to NuVox, where they worked as a Sales Engineer and later transitioned to a Customer Solutions Engineer. At NuVox, they provided service planning and telecom solution designs for multiple sales channels. After NuVox was acquired by Windstream Communications, Chris worked as a Network Design Specialist III, supporting the development and growth of the southern Ohio region. Chris also handled pre-sales engineering, network development, and market growth for enterprise businesses across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Chris then joined MVDconnect as a Lead Sales Engineer, helping businesses identify their telecommunications and technology needs and providing nationwide technical support and consulting. Currently, they are the Founder of Virtualcio.Technology. Throughout their career, Chris has gained expertise in solutions engineering, sales, network design, and customer support.

Chris Woolsey attended Wyoming High School from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a general studies program. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and studied information systems. However, they did not complete their degree at the university. In addition to their formal education, Chris obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they received the VMware vSphere Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn. In 2014, they obtained the Avaya APDS - Networking certification from Avaya. Lastly, in 2020, Chris acquired the VSP - CP (Cloud Provider 2017) certification from VMWARE.
