Dax Downey

Dax Downey has worked as a DevOps Engineer at Flexential since May 2022. In this role, they design, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains cloud environments. Dax also writes and maintains documentation and diagrams of the environments and resolves issues within production Linux OS, Windows server, and container environments. Additionally, they apply and supports automation using DevOps tools such as Ansible, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

Before their current role, Dax worked at Envysion, Inc. a Motorola Brand as a Technical Support Rep Tier 1 from November 2020 to April 2022.

Prior to that, Dax worked at Five Guys Enterprises. Dax served as an Assistant Manager from October 2019 to November 2020, where they were responsible for daily restaurant operations and achieved labor, inventory, and other KPI goals. Dax also provided basic troubleshooting and IT support for the POS system, office computer, and basic networking. Before that, they worked as a Shift Lead from March 2019 to October 2019 and a Crew Member from June 2013 to March 2019.

Dax Downey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. In February 2020, Dax also obtained a certification in ServSafe Food Safety from ServSafe Certified.
