Manager Of Platform Automation at Flexential

Gabriel Tubbs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Gabriel started their career in 2004 as a Corporate Networking and Systems Engineer at United Engineering Group, Inc., where they were responsible for client systems support and company-wide networking. Gabriel then joined Call to Freedom, Int'l as a Technical Project Lead, where they developed the company's backend marketing system and online marketing plan.

In 2008, Tubbs moved to Peak 10 as a Managed Services Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, they handled the planning, design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of ESX hosts and virtual machines in a multi-tenant service provider private cloud environment. Gabriel also managed EMC, HP, and Compellent SAN and storage devices across multiple data centers.

Tubbs joined EMC in 2011 as a Global Demo Cloud Operations Solutions Engineer, where they provided support for the maintenance, monitoring, and scripting of physical and virtual EMC hardware in the demo cloud. Gabriel then held several positions at EMC, including vLab Sr. Solutions Engineer - Global Implementation Team Lead and Principal Cloud Solutions Engineer.

In 2016, Tubbs moved to Intel Corporation as a Sr. Software Defined Infrastructure Solutions Engineer, US Operations Team Lead. Gabriel led a team of cloud engineers in designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions using technologies like Openstack, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and datacenter networking.

From 2018 to 2019, Tubbs worked at AmWINS Group as a Cloud Services Engineer, and since 2019, they have been at Flexential. At Flexential, they have held various roles, including Sr. Platform Reliability Engineer, Sr. Automation Engineer - Service Management Engineering - Team Lead, and currently, Manager of Platform Automation.

Throughout their career, Tubbs has demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure design, and project leadership.

Gabriel Tubbs has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and information technologies. Gabriel attended Coastal Carolina Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Associates degree in Information Technologies and Networking Systems. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, they studied at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
