James Ridgell

James Ridgell has a diverse work experience spanning over 23 years. James is currently employed at Flexential, where they have held multiple roles. James started as a Technical Assistance Center Team Lead in October 2017 and transitioned to a Learning Engineer role in April 2020. James was then promoted to a Senior Learning Engineer in June 2022 and is currently serving as a Technical Account Manager. Prior to Flexential, James worked at Peak 10 from July 2014 to September 2017, primarily as a Technical Assistance Associate. James began their career in 1999 at URS Corporation, where they served as a CAD Manager and Desktop Support until February 2005. James also gained experience at other organizations such as Burgess & Niple, OutsourceIT, AMEC Earth and Environmental, and the US Army, where they held various technical roles. Notably, they served as a Technical Engineer SGT in the Army and supervised a survey team for a significant project. James Ridgell pursued their education in a chronological order. In 2015 to 2017, they attended Strayer University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems with a focus on Enterprise Data Management. Prior to that, in 2014, they attended MY Computer Career, where they studied Information Technology. From 2013 to 2015, Ridgell attended Penn Foster College and received an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Construction Technology. In 2012, they completed the Warrior Leader Course, which did not result in a degree or field of study. In 2009 to 2010, Ridgell attended the U.S. Army Technical Engineer School without earning a degree. Additionally, in 2002, they attained a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (2000) certification from Liming Computers, and in 2000, they obtained a CompTIA A+ certification from Synetics Computers. Ridgell also holds several additional certifications, including ITIL Foundation Level from Beyond 20, MTA: Security Fundamentals, MTA Operating System Fundamentals, CompTIA Network +, CompTIA A+, MCP, and MTA-Networking Fundamentals, all obtained in 2014. James'scertification in Microsoft Office Project 2007 from Microstaff IT was acquired in 2010.
