Scott James

Scott James began their career in 2011 as a Law Clerk Fellow at the 18th Judicial District. After that, they worked as an Associate Attorney at Sutton | Booker | P.C, defending insurance companies against claims of bad faith. In 2015, they joined Moye White LLP as an Associate Attorney, where they advised businesses and executives on risk management and successfully resolved complex disputes. Scott later became a Partner at the same firm, specializing in insurance disputes, business judgment, and fiduciary duties. In 2020, they became Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Flexential.

Scott James holds a J.D. degree from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law. Scott also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Management from the University of Denver. Prior to this, they earned a BBA degree with a focus on Management & Organizations, Spanish, and International Business from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
