Scott Williams

Scott Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Scott started their career in the United States Marine Corps as an Admin/E-3 and served from August 2005 to March 2008. Following their military service, they worked as a Corporate Account Manager at PC Connection from November 2008 to May 2010. Scott then worked as a Satellite Install Technician at Dish Network from June 2010 to December 2010. Scott briefly worked as a Sales Associate at Walmart from November 2010 to April 2011 before joining Best Buy as a Digital Life Specialist from March 2011 to March 2012.

Moving into the technology sector, Scott worked at Volt Workforce Solutions as an Escalation Engineer for Microsoft Exchange from March 2012 to January 2013. Scott then joined Avanade, where they held two roles. Firstly, as a Senior Analyst in Delivery Center/Operations from February 2013 to January 2015, and later as a Client Technical Lead in Service Delivery from January 2015 to August 2016. Scott briefly worked at JDATSG as a Premier Field Engineer - Windows 10 from August 2016 to March 2017.

Scott'snext significant role was at Flexential, where they worked as a Critical Response Engineer from March 2017 to April 2021, handling case escalations and maintaining knowledge base information. Scott then transitioned to the role of Cloud Operations Engineer, starting in April 2021, which involved working with Flexential's largest customers, delivering technical services, and guiding operations personnel in customer projects.

Scott Williams has a diverse education history. Scott attended ITT Technical Institute-Charlotte North from 2011 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Computer Networking Systems with a focus on Networking/Programming. Prior to that, they completed their O-Level education in Avionics at NAS in 2006. Scott also completed their high school education at MHRS from 1999 to 2005, with a general education focus.

In addition to their formal education, Scott Williams has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they obtained the SL1 Operator certification from ScienceLogic. In 2021, they achieved the Kemp Certified Technical Professional certification from Kemp. In 2020, they obtained the Fortinet NSE1 certification from Fortinet, as well as the VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 certification and VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations certification from VMware. In 2018, they obtained the ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Lastly, in 2017, they achieved the Zerto Certified Professional (ZCP) Basic 5.0 certification from Zerto.
