John Forbes

John Forbes has extensive experience in sales and leadership roles. John is currently working as the Vice President of Sales at Flexera since February 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales and Development at Flexera Software from July 2016 to February 2020. John was responsible for driving M&A and global sales in this role. Before joining Flexera Software, Forbes worked as the Vice President of Sales at Flexera Software from March 2004 to July 2016, where they managed North American sales teams in the Software Monetization Practice. John also has past experience as a Sales Manager at Cognos from March 2003 to March 2004 and as a Sales Executive at LumaPath from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they held various roles at Iona Technologies from 1997 to 2002, including Sales Manager and Regional Sales Executive. Forbes began their career at Aerotek, where they served as the Director of Branch Operations, Regional Director, Account Manager, and Recruiter from January 1991 to April 1997.

John Forbes attended Bates College from 1986 to 1990, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Special Education.
