Steve Heeney

Steve Heeney has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology industry. Currently, they serve as the Director Alliances, EMEA & APAC at Flexera. In this role, they are responsible for driving alliances with IBM and IBM partners across EMEA, building joint propositions and achieving notable client wins. Prior to their current position, Steve held the role of Director Alliances, EMEA and Head of Regional Alliances at Flexera, where they were instrumental in doubling revenue and driving alliances with major partners in the UKI. Before joining Flexera, Steve worked as the Head of Channels and Alliances, EMEA at Cyberscience Corporation, where they built channels and alliances in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, and AI technologies. Steve also worked at AgI Consultants Ltd as the Head of Cloud Partnerships, and at IBM (UK) Ltd in various roles including Cloud Channels Director, Channel Sales Manager, and Channel Manager E-commerce. Steve began their career at Level 8 as a BDM.

Steve Heeney completed an Introduction to MEDDIC course at the MEDDIC Academy in 2020. Steve also earned a degree in Theoretical Physics from the University of East Anglia. In addition, they obtained certifications including AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2021, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from BSI in 2013, and a CIM Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 1993.
