David Smith is currently the Director of Lifecycle Sales at FlexGen, focusing on helping customers enhance their renewable energy portfolios. Previously, they held various leadership roles at Wärtsilä, including General Manager of Agreements Management and Sales Delivery Director, where they contributed to significant revenue growth and managed key accounts in the marine sector. David began their career at Wärtsilä as a Design Engineer and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, graduating with First Class Honors. With a passion for environmental sustainability, David drives market growth and customer satisfaction through teamwork and strategic initiatives.
