Lindsey Smith

Lindsey Smith has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Lindsey is currently employed as a Marketing Manager at FlexGen since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as an Internal Sales Manager at the same company from May 2021 to September 2021.

Before joining FlexGen, Lindsey worked at Black & Veatch from 2017 to 2021. Lindsey'sroles at Black & Veatch included Associate Client Account Manager for Global Distributed Energy from December 2019 to May 2021, Business Development Manager for Corporate Sustainability from January 2019 to December 2019, and Happiness Hero for Solarhood from August 2017 to December 2019. In their Happiness Hero role, they focused on connecting people with solar resources and promoting sustainability.

Prior to Black & Veatch, Lindsey worked at Sungevity from 2015 to 2017. Lindsey held various roles at Sungevity, starting as a Technical Sales representative where they assessed potential customers' homes for solar viability and qualified customers. Lindsey was later promoted to the Customer Experience Management team, where they focused on fostering relationships with customers and finding solutions to their issues. Finally, they became a member of the Field Service Project Management team, where they facilitated service for customers' systems.

Lindsey's early work experience includes a role as a Manager at Webster House LLC from 2005 to 2015, where they led a team and provided exceptional customer service in a historic and beautiful location in Kansas City.

Lindsey Smith's education history begins with their high school education at Boonville R1 High School, which they attended from 1997 to 2000. Lindsey then proceeded to Truman State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from 2000 to 2004, with a focus on Fine/Studio Arts, General. In 2001 and 2002, Lindsey attended Universidad de Salamanca to complete Mester Spanish Language Courses. Later, in 2016 and 2017, they enrolled at Solar Energy International (SEI) to study PVOL 101: Solar Electric Design & Installation (Grid-Direct) with a specialization in Solar Energy.
