Daan Terpstra is a Principal Consultant at FlexiDAO since March 2023, focusing on promoting the significance of a decarbonised electricity system. Concurrently, Daan serves as an Industrial Fellow at Royal Docks School of Business and Law @UEL and as a Senior Advisor at Apricum – The Cleantech Advisory, where involvement includes guiding top managers in renewable energy projects. Prior experience includes serving as CEO of the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance (SDIA), where Daan managed operations and advocated for sustainable digital infrastructure. Daan's career encompasses various roles at Vattenfall, including Manager of Flexibility Services and Teamlead of Battery Projects, as well as positions at Energy Storage NL, Nuon, and Energie Makelaar. Daan holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has completed management training at De Baak, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen.
