Sandra Young

Sandra Young has extensive experience in the field of credit risk management and consulting. Sandra has worked as an independent credit consultant at S Young Consulting since 2012, where they primarily focus on credit risk, adjudication, due diligence, operational effectiveness, data management, analysis, and reporting for clients such as TD, CIBC, Rogers, and Flexiti Financial. Prior to that, they worked as a Sponsor Manager at the Credit Scoring and Risk Strategy Association starting in 2004. From 2016 onwards, Sandra has also been serving as a risk contractor at Flexiti Financial, responsible for credit and fraud risk management for a private label credit card. Sandra has also held roles as a risk management consultant at CIBC in 2014, VP of Risk Management at Wellspring Financial from 2013 to 2015, credit risk consultant at TD from 2013 to 2014, credit risk consultant at Rogers Communications from 2012 to 2013, senior consultant at Data Insight Group Inc. in 2012, senior director of Analytics & Data Services at CIBC from 2010 to 2012, and director of Acquisitions at President's Choice Financial from 2007 to 2010.

Sandra Young holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban & Economic Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto - Victoria University, which they obtained from 1985 to 1990. Sandra further pursued a Masters degree in Urban Planning at the University of Toronto from 1990 to 1992.
