Dean Smith

Dean Smith is an experienced aviation professional with extensive expertise in piloting and flight training. Since May 2019, Dean has served as a Phenom 300 Pilot at Flexjet. Concurrently, Dean has been a Lead Standards Instructor and Check Airman at CAE since 2013, with additional roles as Instructor Pilot/Check Airman for CL-65 and Training Manager for various aircraft, including Boeing 737NG and Falcon models. As a self-employed contract pilot since January 2009, Dean specializes in corporate pilot services for BE-400 and CL-65. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Operations at Cutter Aviation from September 2017 to November 2018, and multiple roles at Cutter Aviation from 2008 to 2013, including Captain and Check Airman for the BE 400 program.
