Jason Schaeffer

Jason Schaeffer is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in piloting and aviation instruction. Currently, Jason serves as a Check Pilot and Captain/Instructor Pilot for the Praetor 500 at Flexjet, a position held since March 2022. Jason has been with Flex Jet since November 2015 as a First Officer. Experience also includes serving as a 141 Check Airman at Westwind School of Aeronautics since May 2005, and previously holding the role of Lear 55 Captain at Grancor Aviation from July 2005 to November 2015. Additional roles include Contract Pilot for Airwolff, Inc. and a Line Service Technician at Scottsdale Air Center. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation from Mountain State University, earned in 2011.
