John Nicks

John Nicks has a diverse aviation career spanning several decades, beginning as a Command and Control Specialist with the United States Air Force from March 1982 to June 1987, where responsibilities included supporting transient flight operations at Kadena Air Base in Japan. Following military service, John transitioned to various pilot roles, including First Officer positions at ASTAR Air Cargo, TEM Enterprises, and Kalitta Air, as well as an A320 Pilot at Spirit Airlines from July 2014 to September 2021. Most recently, John has served as a Pilot for Flexjet since November 2023, flying the Embraer Legacy Praetor, after working as a First Officer for flyExclusive from September 2022 to October 2023. Additionally, John gained experience as an ISR pilot with L-3 Communications in international operations supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and holds a degree in Flight Operations from the Community College of the Air Force.
