Kent Stauffer

Vice President Safety at Flexjet

Kent Stauffer has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Kent has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2001, Stauffer started as an Aircraft Technician at Flight Options, where they gained experience in inspection, service, and repair of various aircraft models. Kent then became a Lead Maintenance Controller/Crew Chief before joining Raytheon Aircraft Services Company/Flight Options in 2003 as a Technical Services Representative. In this role, they conducted reliability audits and created tracking databases related to the fleet. Stauffer later joined Flight Options again in 2004 and served as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Incident/Accident Investigator, and Maintenance and Ground Safety Manager. Kent was responsible for safety programs, compliance, and investigating incidents/accidents. In 2013, Stauffer became the Vice President Operations at Flight Options and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2014. Kent joined Nextant Aerospace in 2015 as the Vice President of Operations and moved to Constant Aviation in 2018, where they served as the Vice President, Quality, Safety, and Technical Programs. In 2022, Stauffer became the Chief Safety Officer at Constant Aviation. Kent is currently the Vice President of Safety at Flexjet, starting in 2023.

Kent Stauffer received their education in various fields, including Aviation Safety and Security from the University of Southern California from 2006 to 2008. Kent also obtained an Associates Science degree in Aircraft Maintenance A&P License from Westwood College - Denver North in 1999-2000. In addition, they studied Music Education and Computer Science at the University of Wyoming at Casper College from 1987 to 1989. Kent Stauffer has also obtained several certifications, including Aircraft Accident Investigation from the University of Southern California and an Airframe and Powerplant Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. Kent also holds FAA UAS Remote Pilot License and Pilot's License certifications.
