Timothy Wade

Timothy Wade has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Timothy is currently the Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety at Flexjet, where they report to the Vice President of Safety and oversees safety needs related to ground operations. In addition, Timothy is the host of The Safety Wire Podcast since 2022.

Prior to their current role, Timothy held multiple positions at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), including Safety Committee Communications Team Lead and Team Lead for Ground Ops and Maintenance. Timothy also served as a YoPro Council Member at NBAA.

Previously, Timothy worked at Constant Aviation as the Corporate Director of Environmental Health & Safety and Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for all EHS matters for various aviation companies and their employees, as well as managing the Safety Management System and hazardous waste and materials operations.

Before entering the aviation industry, Timothy worked as a Life Safety Inspector at Koorsen Fire and Security, where they specialized in fire alarm and sprinkler system installation and inspection.

Timothy began their career as an Aircraft Mechanic in the US Army and later transitioned to work as a Medic at Akron Children's Hospital. Timothy also served as a Firefighter, EMT, and First Responder at OAK GROVE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT INC.

Additionally, Timothy has experience in radio broadcasting, having served as the Traffic and Continuity Director at 88.9 WSTB FM.

Timothy Wade, ASHM, has a diverse education history. Timothy has a High School Diploma from Streetsboro High School, obtained in 2007. Timothy then pursued a Professional Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Murray State University in 2011-2012. During the same period, they also completed a Certificate in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from North Central Institute. In 2013-2015, Wade earned an Associate's Degree in Fire Protection from The University of Akron. Later, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health and Safety from Walden University in 2015-2016.

Wade continued their education with various certifications. Timothy obtained a Graduate Certificate in Bible/Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute in 2017-2018. In the same period, they also received a Certificate in Aircraft Incident Investigation and Analysis from the University of Southern California.
