John Wong

John Wong is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development, architecture, and engineering leadership. As a Co-Founder of Flexnode Solutions since June 2007, John specializes in Ruby on Rails consultancy, focusing on rapid MVP delivery for early-stage startups. At Mindvalley, from May 2013 to July 2025, John held various titles, culminating in Principal Architect, where responsibilities included leading high-impact architecture initiatives and modernizing platforms. Notable achievements include scaling foundational systems for video management and streamlining infrastructure through a company-wide migration to Google Cloud Platform. Prior to Mindvalley, John served as a Senior Software Developer at ZoeCity Inc. and a Web Application Developer at Sri Komputer Sdn Bhd, where contributions involved leading Ruby on Rails development teams. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from UNSW and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from INTI University College.
