Abdullah Kavi

Abdullah Kavi is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Flexport, Abdullah leads critical projects, including the Execution Coordinator Read migration and a Public API ERP initiative aimed at enhancing client integration with the Flexport ecosystem. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Leader at Flexport, Abdullah designed and launched various tools, including the "Classification App," contributing to significant cost reductions. Prior roles include positions at WeWork and Expedia Group, where Abdullah played pivotal roles in architectural design and the development of complex software systems, as well as a long tenure at Microsoft, focusing on enhancing Microsoft Office Excel features. Abdullah holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
