David Purington

David Purington is a seasoned professional with a robust background in global trade and operations management. Currently serving as the Branch Manager for the South Central region at Flexport since May 2015, David oversees the P&L for the largest geographic territory in North America and leads a team across various functions to enhance customer service. David's previous roles at Flexport include Director of Restructuring, where strategic initiatives were executed across multiple departments, and several managerial positions in client solutions and global operations. Earlier experience includes an Account Executive role at Fisher Investments, sourcing significant new assets, and a Policy Analyst position at USC Credit Union. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs with a Business Minor from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
