Jasper Smit

Jasper Smit is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international business development and trade. Currently serving as a Global Account Executive Enterprise at Flexport since January 2022, Jasper has a strong background in facilitating company expansion and fostering relationships between Dutch and North American enterprises. Previous roles include Commercial Director at TMF Group and Director at the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, where Jasper advised US and Canadian companies on expanding into the Netherlands. Jasper has also served as an Economic Officer at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in San Francisco, supporting Dutch companies in their business ventures across the US, and has held multiple positions within the Dutch Trade Promotion Agency. Jasper holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen.
