Nathan Strang

Nathan Strang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in ocean freight management and military operations. Currently serving as the Director of Ocean Freight at Flexport, Nathan leads the Southwest Ocean Business Unit, developing comprehensive freight strategies for a broad client base. Previous roles at Flexport include Director Ocean Trade Lane Management and Senior Trade Lane Manager, where Nathan utilized data-driven strategies to optimize operations and customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Flexport, Nathan served in the US Navy for two decades, holding various leadership positions in operations analysis, strategic planning, and training, while successfully managing large teams and complex projects. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Studies from Manhattan University and a Master of Science in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business.
