James Allen

James Allen is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Forestar Group Inc. since March 2020, Allen oversees financial operations in a national residential lot development company. In addition, Allen holds the position of Non Executive Director at FlexShopper, where responsibilities include chairing the Audit Committee and participating in the Compensation and Nominating Committees. Past experience includes tenures as Chief Financial Officer at Hollander Sleep Products and senior operational roles in private equity at Palm Beach Capital and Sun Capital Partners, as well as leadership positions in other organizations such as Mattress Firm, Cargo Furniture, and Pinnacle Frames and Accents. James Allen earned a BBA in Accounting, Management, and Economics from Evangel University.
