Dirk-Jan Moens

Dirk-Jan Moens is an experienced professional in optimization through simulation, currently serving as the owner and principal consultant at TALUMIS Optimization through Simulation since October 2003. With a strong focus on industrial environments, Dirk-Jan specializes in discrete production, chemicals, bulk supply chains, and ports, leveraging over 100 years of combined experience within the company. Additionally, Dirk-Jan is a board member at DSP TALUMIS and has maintained a development partnership with Flexsim Software Products, Inc. since December 2003. Previous roles include senior simulation consultant at Incontrol and simulation consultant at F&H Simulations. Dirk-Jan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Production and Operations Management from the University of Twente, earned between 1988 and 1994.
