Fred Korpel

Fred Korpel is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering with extensive experience in process optimization and project leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Technology Associate at Flexsys since November 2021, Fred focuses on process improvement and problem-solving. Previously, Fred held various roles at Eastman Chemical Company, including Senior Technology Associate and Senior Process Research Engineer, leading the Technology Group in Antwerp and facilitating training in problem-solving and decision-making. Fred's experience also includes significant contributions at Solutia and Akzo Nobel Chemicals, where skills in process optimization and new project implementation were developed. Fred holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool and has additional academic credentials from Delft University of Technology and Van Oldenbarnevelt.
