Alaa BahnAsy

Alaa BahnAsy started working as a Retail Sales Representative at Orange Egypt from May 2015 to July 2016. They then moved on to work at Libano-Suisse Takaful Egypt, where they held two roles. From July 2017 to June 2018, Alaa acted as Compensation & Benefits Supervisor, and from December 2017 to June 2018, they worked as a Compensation Benefits Specialist - Business Partner. They then joined PepsiCo in July 2018 as an HR Outsourcing Supervisor, responsible for coordinating daily labor operations and handling labor relations. From January 2019 to June 2019, Alaa worked as an HR Business Partner at Dreamcom Etisalat Premium SMB Business Partner, supporting HR initiatives and overseeing recruitment processes. They then joined Delivery Hero in July 2019 as a People Acquisition Partner, primarily focusing on logistics and fleet management. In July 2020, they transitioned to the role of People Business Partner and later became a Senior People Acquisition Partner for Talabat New Verticals from September 2020 to January 2021. Most recently, Alaa joined Brimore in January 2021 as Head of HR, and in May 2022, they joined Flextock as the Head of People for Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Alaa BahnAsy's education history is as follows:

From 2008 to 2013, Alaa attended Future Integrated Language School, where they obtained a Thanawya Amma degree in the Maths section.

From 2013 to 2017, Alaa studied at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the English Section.

Starting in 2021 and ending in 2023, Alaa is pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Comparative Politics & International Relations at both the University of Tübingen and The American University in Cairo.

In addition to their formal education, Alaa also obtained certification in November 2022 from the Primakov Center for International Cooperation for participating in the International Youth Forum, Russia - Middle East.
