FlexTogether
FlexTogether is radically expanding access to respiratory rehab for the 37M chronic lung disease patients. Our telehealth practice gently strengthens patients with a unique program designed to reduce shortness of breath and improve quality of life. FlexTogether is an alumni of the highly competitive Cedars-Sinai Accelerator and AARP Foundation Innovation Program. Pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) is a proven method to improve COPD outcomes; however, access to PR has been limited by geography and adherence challenges. FlexTogether removes these barriers by delivering the key components of PR into a patient’s home. FlexTogether expands access to PR through a virtual platform that guides patients through cardiopulmonary exercises and culturally-appropriate health education, connects them with respiratory therapists and rehab providers (PT/SLP), and encourages them with a supportive community.
