Most kids never get to touch a real cockpit, design a flying machine, or earn a federal certificate before they finish high school. We think that's a missed generation.

Flight & Aerospace Academy is changing that. Based in Jersey City, we run an aviation and drone engineering program for students ages 6 to 17. Our philosophy is simple: kids learn faster when they're having fun, and they build grit when they're progressively challenged and mentored through every step.

That's why our program is mission-based. Students don't sit through lessons, they complete missions. Land a Cessna in a crosswind. Race an FPV drone through an obstacle course. Design and build a drone that can hunt and capture another drone in our in-house competitions. Each mission earns skill points and unlocks the next one, harder than the last.

Ages 6 to 13: Foundation
Students learn to fly different aircraft on our flight simulator, pilot FPV drones through indoor courses, and build their own drones from scratch. The goal is breadth and confidence. By the end of this stage, every student has flown, built, and led.

Age 14 and up: Specialization Students choose their track:
Pilot Track: Train toward the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate at 16 and a Private Pilot License at 17, with in-aircraft training at one of our partner flight schools.
Engineering Track: Build progressively more advanced drones and robots, including autonomous flight, computer vision, and drone-versus-drone systems. These projects become the centerpiece of college applications and early careers.

We partner with Princeton Flying School, HHI Heliport, the French American Academy, and a growing network of partners across aviation, robotics, and K-12 education.

If you're a parent, a school director, an instructor, an industry partner, or someone who wishes a program like this had existed when you were a kid, we'd love to hear from you. The sky is no longer the limit.
