PFM Labs, founded in 2023 in West Lafayette, Indiana, is reshaping aviation training operations through automation, optimization, and predictive analytics. A sister company of PlaneEnglish, PFM Labs builds on a proven track record of delivering innovative training tools to pilots, flight schools, and the U.S. Air Force.

At the core of its work is Flight Optimal, a cloud-based platform that moves beyond calendars to function as a true optimization engine for training management. Flight Optimal automates scheduling, integrates maintenance and dispatch, monitors instructor qualifications, enforces duty time regulations, and dynamically reflows schedules when disruptions occur. What once required hours of manual planning can now be completed in minutes.

With features like AI-driven training demand signals, automated syllabus tracking, duty time projections, schedule optimization, and real-time resource monitoring, Flight Optimal enables institutions to increase throughput, reduce costs, and build stable, scalable operations. Training organizations using the platform report higher utilization, fewer cancellations, and more predictable outcomes.

PFM Labs serves the operational leaders of training institutions — Directors of Operations, Chief Instructors, and Ops Managers — providing them with the intelligent backbone required to meet today’s demands and tomorrow’s growth.
