Vinay Kumar

Vinay Kumar is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Veryon since April 2019. Previously, Vinay held the position of IT Development Director at Equifax, where responsibilities included modernizing the technology ecosystem and leading cross-functional teams in Architecture, Software Development, Quality Assurance, and DevOps. At the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Vinay served as Director of Technical Development, overseeing the design and stability of critical applications and maintaining the technology roadmap. Vinay began the career as a Sales Associate, Computer Technician, and Software Developer at Peach Microsystems, where system deployment and customization were key responsibilities. Educationally, Vinay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa.
