Richard Illig

Richard Illig has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Richard currently serves as the Head of Product at Flightright, where they focus on product innovation and building relationships with business partners. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Product Manager at Chevalier Rechtsanwälte and Opinary, where they were responsible for developing and implementing product strategies that increased user engagement and revenue. Richard also has experience as the Founder of Product Peers, a network for product managers, and as the Head of Product at Loopline Systems, where they defined product visions and strategies. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Product Lead and Junior Product Manager at Goodgame Studios, where they successfully launched and monetized mobile apps. Richard's work experience also includes roles in quantitative research and online strategy at jungformat and as a Research Interviewer at Ipsos. Richard began their career with an internship at Deutsche Audio Agentur / BluRadio. Through their various roles, Richard has demonstrated a consistent focus on driving product growth, improving user satisfaction, and building strong teams.

Richard Illig completed their education at various institutions. Richard obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication in Social and Economic Contexts from Universität der Künste Berlin, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following this, Richard participated in an exchange program at CEU Cardenal Herrera University, focusing on Advertising and Public Relations from 2008 to 2009. Richard then pursued a Master's degree in Communication in Social and Economic Contexts at Universität der Künste Berlin from 2010 to 2012.

Richard also holds several certifications. Richard obtained the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in May 2021 and the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner A-CSPO certification from Scrum Alliance in November 2020. In addition, Richard earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance in June 2015.
