Andy Beach

Andy Beach is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the media and entertainment technology sector. Currently serving as an Advisor at Flikforge and a Professional Advisor at the Seattle Film Institute, Andy provides strategic guidance and expertise to enhance operations and decision-making. In a prominent role as CTO for Media & Entertainment at Microsoft since 2012, Andy collaborates with product groups to develop media-related technology solutions. Previous positions include contributions as a Principal Technical PM and Senior SDE, focusing on Microsoft's media strategy and developer support. Andy's leadership roles extend to serving on the Board of Directors for The Alliance for Media Arts + Culture and authoring a book on video compression. With a strong educational background, including a recent certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management in Artificial Intelligence, Andy continues to influence the evolution of media technologies.
