Amanda Lewis

Amanda Lewis has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Amanda started their career as a Corporate Communications Intern at Bell Media, where they wrote media releases, drafted internal communications, and wrote articles for an internal publication. Amanda then worked as a Key Carrier at Payless ShoeSource, where they managed opening and closing duties, provided excellent customer service, and trained new employees. Amanda then joined Seneca College as a Technical Writer, where they established a department-wide standard for technical documentation, created over 800 documents, and implemented accessibility requirements. After that, they worked at Index Exchange as a Technical Writer, responsible for writing and maintaining documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and contributing to knowledge bases. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Technical Writer at Flinks.

Amanda Lewis attended Seneca College from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained an Ontario College Certificate in Technical Communications. Prior to that, they attended the University of Guelph from 2009 to 2013, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in English. In terms of additional certifications, Amanda obtained a Programmatic Advertising Foundations certification from LinkedIn in October 2020, as well as an Illustrator 2020 One-on-One: Fundamentals certification from LinkedIn in September 2020. Amanda also has certifications in Agile Training and Six Sigma Green Belt, but the institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications were not provided.
