Farthing also worked as an engineering consultant, technical advisor, and held key positions at Suncor Energy and TransAlta, significantly contributing to technical strategy development and operational excellence. Farthing holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Computer Information Systems from Keyano College.
