Ryan Ong is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the technology sector. Since joining Flipp in July 2016, Ryan has progressed from Software Engineer I to Senior Software Engineer, demonstrating significant technical growth and expertise. Prior to Flipp, Ryan held positions as a pervasive sensing engineer at Singapore University of Technology and Design and as a software developer at CANARIE Inc. and the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Early career experiences include roles at eSight Eyewear, SkyWave, and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, where Ryan contributed to software development, testing, and verification. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completing the degree in 2016.
