Alex Roy

Alex Roy is an experienced data scientist currently employed at Float since February 2024. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Shopify from September 2020 to August 2023, including Senior Data Scientist, Data Scientist, and Data Science Intern. Earlier career experience includes working as a Project Manager and Estimator at Dilfo Mechanical Limited from June 2013 to March 2020. Alex earned a BASc in Mechanical Engineering with a Co-op designation from the University of Ottawa, where studies were completed from 2008 to 2013.
