Christopher Schmitz

Christopher Schmitz has seven years of work experience, beginning with an internship at Chronext Service Germany GmbH in 2015. Christopher then worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Venture Capital Analyst at Digital Health Ventures / DHV Management GmbH and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Corporate Finance and International Strategy at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. In 2019, they were a Venture Manager in the Quantum Stream at the Creative Destruction Lab in Toronto, where they managed six early-stage companies in the Quantum and AI streams. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Associate, Strategy and Operations and an Associate, Strategy and Operations at DoorDash. Christopher is currently working as a Product Operations Manager at Float since 2022.

Christopher Schmitz has an extensive education history. Christopher began their studies in 2012, when they obtained a US High School Diploma from John F. Kennedy School Berlin. In 2014, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, as well as a Certificate in Business Law from Bucerius Law School. In 2016, they completed an exchange program at Smith School of Business at Queen's University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General. Christopher then continued their studies in 2017, obtaining a Master of Global Affairs in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Toronto - Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Programming Foundations: Fundamentals from Lynda.com.
